Integrate a job feed with Hosco
If you can generate an XML or JSON feed of your open jobs, you can post them to Hosco automatically without setting up a full ATS integration. This is a lighter-weight option if your ATS or careers page can already export a feed, or if you're able to build one to our specification. In this case, candidates apply directly on Hosco — since there's no ATS integration, applications are managed within Hosco rather than syncing back to your system.
How it works
- Send us the link to your XML or JSON feed, or ask us to review whether an existing feed already meets our criteria.
- All open jobs in the feed are imported automatically. You can't select individual jobs to import — the feed reflects everything that's live.
- Once your feed is connected, keeping your careers page or ATS export up to date is all you need to do; updates flow through automatically.
Mandatory fields:
- Company name
- Job title
- Job type (full-time / part-time / internship)
- Application URL
- Job ID / reference number
- City
- Country
- Job description
- Job requirements
- Department
Optional fields: Salary, Duration, Education
Feed requirements- Format: XML or JSON
- Maximum of 400 jobs per feed
- No duplicate job entries
- Avoid repeatedly closing and reopening the same job
- Jobs must be ones posted directly by you as the employer — feeds that aggregate postings from third-party sites aren't accepted
- Include full city and country names — a city name alone can be ambiguous
- Each job imported through the feed uses one posting from your Hosco plan, the same as a job you post manually — check with your Account Manager if you're unsure how this applies to your subscription.
- Setting up a new feed typically takes up to two weeks.
- Keep your feed free of expired jobs so your listings on Hosco stay accurate.
Send us your feed URL, or reach out to your Hosco Account Manager or email industryrelations@hosco.com and we'll confirm whether it meets our requirements and get it connected.
